What type of business do you run? Photography - specialising in weddings and portraits but also undertaking some corporate work.

When did you start working from home? Autumn 2015

What made you decide to work from home rather than in premises off site? I’m not really in a position to rent a studio space at the moment, and since most of my photoshoots take place outdoors or in clients’ home, it’s not a problem really. However, wouldn’t it be amazing to have a studio?!

What do you like best about working from home? Being able to work around personal commitments and interests is great, and in the summer, I tend to take breaks away from the laptop with a spot of gardening!

Are there any difficulties in working from home? Not really.

What is your favourite feature of your workspace? My big table! I love to be organised, so I tend to lay out my work so that I can see it all in front of me. I’ve also just had my workspace painted - it’s been transformed from magnolia to a blue/grey colour. Very relaxing to the eye.

Home/Work documents the workspaces of people who live and work in the same premises. I am interested in how people create these workspaces and how the lines between home and work are defined or blurred. The images here were all taken prior to COVID-19.
