Photography for The Leathersellers’ Company – Jasneet Singh

Earlier in the year I was really pleased to work with writer Fiona Thompson again to take photographs to accompany another piece she was writing for the Leathersellers’ Company. The article, ‘Building the Dream, From the Ground Up: The Journey From Kabul to UCL‘, which you can read on the Leathersellers’ site, features Civil Engineering undergraduate student Jasneet Singh, who arrived in the UK as a refugee aged 13 with no education and no English and through a thirst for learning and support from The Brilliant Club went on to study at UCL (University College London).

I was fortunate to spend some time with Jasneet in the final week of his course and it was fantastic to hear about the projects he had been working on as we took photographs around the campus.

Below are some of the photographs from the day, and I encourage you to read Fiona’s article to get the full story.
