One of the most exciting projects I helped devise in my role as Projects Director at Shutter Hub was YEARBOOK. Initially established as a way to help promote photographers during the pandemic, it became an annual directory of photographers, open to everyone no matter what stage they are at in their career, comprising:
- A group exhibition online featuring at least one image from each entrant
- A printed publication featuring 100 of the photographers, which is sent to industry specialists and agencies as well as being available to purchase.
- A series of YEARBOOK Awards with prizes from Alamy, BenQ, Metro Imaging, Newspaper Club and PhotoShelter.
I am really proud to have managed this project, seen all the exciting work from photographers across the globe, helped make the selections for the exhibition and publication and to have created the YEARBOOK publication itself.
I’ve included a few images I took of the publication below, but you can find out more and order your own copy directly from Shutter Hub on their website.
