Photography for Gunnersbury Park Museum – School Sessions

In the summer I was commissioned by Gunnersbury Park Museum to document some of their schools sessions. I’ve worked with Gunnersbury for a number of years, helping to build up a library of images they could use in their promotion, ‘What’s On’ guides and website, and it was lovely to be back. It’s a wonderful museum with beautiful grounds and a fantastic team to work with!

On this occasion I was documenting the Below Stairs workshop for Key Stage 2 children where the Victorian Housekeeper gives them and the Kitchen Maid lots of servant tasks to do, the Numeracy in Nature workshop for Key Stage 1 children where they meet a historical mathematician Ada Lovelace and the Toys and Games workshop for Key Stage 1 children where children get to play with toys from the past. They were all so wonderful to experience, the learning team make it a truly immersive experience and I learnt a lot myself as well as taking care not to get in trouble Below Stairs! To find out more see their website at Schools | Gunnersbury (visitgunnersbury.org).
