Exhibition: Your Body Belongs to You, Shutter Hub

Shutter Hub’s latest exhibition, YOUR BODY BELONGS TO YOU, opened this week and runs for six months from 18 April – 18 September 2022.

Showcasing almost 100 photographers, and over 200 images, YOUR BODY BELONGS TO YOU brings together women and non-binary photographers from around the world in a selected exhibition and promotes the future of photography through diverse and creative imagery.

The outdoor exhibition site is in the centre of St Gilles Croix de Vie, an area that attracts thousands of visitors day and night throughout the seasons. As part of the Shutter Hub team I’m lucky to have been able to go to some of our previous exhibitions there and it’s a very special place!

I’m really pleased to be included in the exhibition myself, too. I entered some images I took thinking about identity and proof of my own existence, so those are the images I thought I’d share today.

There’s going to be an online symposium with talks from some of the exhibiting photographers in May, so if you’d like to find out more about that and register to attend you can do so here.
