Photography for The Charles Dickens Museum

Recently I was commissioned to work with the Charles Dickens Museum to create some new promotional images and it was really lovely to be back and to work with the fantastic team again. The Charles Dickens Museum is at 48 Doughty Street, which was the London home of Charles Dickens and a wonderful museum to visit if you are able to. It’s particularly special at Christmas when all the rooms are decorated beautifully.

The museum is open when it is able to be so, tier and restriction dependent, but they also have an excellent programme of online events that you can enjoy from home. Part of my work was to capture images to promote the Virtual Handmaid’s Tour and Dominic Gerrard’s A Christmas Carol and they both look absolutely fantastic!

There are a few images below, and you can see many of them in use and find out more about the museum and what’s on on their website: dickensmuseum.com

I am also really pleased that a couple of images that I took on a previous shoot have been included in a new Christmas at the Charles Dickens Museum Postcard Set, one of which is also on the cover, so that’s lovely to see! You can buy the set here, along with plenty of other lovely Dickens related items.
