At the end of March I had the pleasure of photographing the opening event for David Lock: In Between Us at Firstsite. 

“‘In-between Us’ seeks to examine identity and masculinities, challenging social constructs and stereotypes through art by weaving connections between the past and present.”

It’s an excellent exhibition and incredibly David Lock’s first solo exhibition. Being in Colchester and specifically in Firstsite, home of The Berryfield Mosaic, it’s particularly interesting to see Lock’s interpretation and use of Roman artefact imagery in the exhibition.
